Demos and other Lofi shite: Recorded mostly during COVID 2020-2021, and a few before then. Time is Only Love’s Mistake and She’s a Gun being a last-minute exception. Time is Only Love’s Mistake is a lyric from a Bruce Haack song. She’s a Gun would be a fake White Stripes song if I could learn how to sing even remotely similar to Jack…

3 fake songs, 3 covers, 2 songs by zapp, 2 songs by haukur, 1 by max, the rest by me. We cover The High Strung, Sly and the Family Stone, and Daniel Johnston (we were on a swell tribute album called You Can’t Break a Broken Heart).

This album was already a little bit fuzzy but after a certain bandmate wouldn’t use their fuzz pedal on the live songs, after a couple of years of begging, I one day went home from rehearsal and, like a mad man, fuzzed this album up even more.

Sometimes, to be stupid, we make up the date of releases, such as 4/20 and 6/9, but coincidently, and without planning, this one was actually released on 6/9.

This album is dedicated to two pups named Rex and Roxy, that left us much too early, along with these humans: April Stevens, Herbert Deutsch, Ramsey Lewis, Ronnie Spector, and Tina Turner - RIP.

Special thanks to Ed Tompkins for use of the (real) cannon for the album cover, and Scott Aukerman for the album title…
